Epidemia Z (concept art book & thesis book)

Concept Art Book: This is the art book created for my final's year project thesis entitled : The Art of Epidemia Z. (greek word for Epidemic) Epidemia Z is a zombie apocalyptic game taking place in Cyprus, a Greek island in Mediterranean sea. Epidemia Z follows the story of a couple ,Peter and Nikki, who manage to survive, against all the odds,the are trying to find the cure in order to safe the world. The art book shows the steps and techniques i used ,in order to create the characters,the environment and the storyline Thesis Book: The main aim for this dissertation is to look into what concept art is and the lack of knowledge and understanding. A deeper investigation through published books and magazines answered three main questions. A deeper understanding is initially required in order to understand the techniques used in order to produce the final concept art in the limited time required. In order to present the idea to the company and let it becomes something real. Through the questionnaire I found out about the common trends and how this can be applied and influence a video game and its concept art. Along with this, the dissertation looks at the production process and how concept art generates ideas, concepts and creativity.
