University project the given brief: You are asked to plan, design and produce a web based in teractive application to promote using renewable energies. The project should be developed in Adobe Dreamweaver and your research should be based on the concept of “Social Mobilization”. [ Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources such as sunlight , wind , rain , tides , and geothermal heat , which are renew able (naturally replenished) ] The brief: Design a piece of web - based communication to promote the benefits of utilizing a renewable energy of your choice (i.e. ‘PV energy’ – electricity generated from the sun). Mandatory requirements: Your design must: • Be based on a multi - column grid • Be Interactive (in order to engage viewers) • Be Educational (explain the renewable energy as well as raising awareness) • Include a landing page with a small animation (animated Gif), a home page and 4 additional sections Target audience: You are talking to a general public wh ich probably knows nothing about any sort of renewable energy. They may have never considered energy beyond the price of their electricity bill. General Directions: The solutions to global energy problems should be found through innovation rather than c ampaigning. Your work should reflect this and seek to inspire, amuse or engage your audience rather than portraying any kind of negative environmental message
